I’m a photographer in American Falls, Idaho. I grew up with photography being a fun activity while on a family vacation, at holiday gatherings, or a special event.

I believe, photography is so much more than a flash in time. It is a treasured moment that becomes a memory.

My Story

My name is Machelle Stratton, of DMS Photos. I am a professional photographer located in American Falls Idaho. I have been passionate about photography ever since I was a little girl. My dad was my biggest inspiration; he would say, "There are small gems of wonder all around us; and small moments that become memories.” That's what I love to do with my photography: highlight those gems of wonder and capture the small moments to share with others.

Once I became an empty nester, I decided to pursue my passion of photography more seriously. In my search for knowledge, I discovered the "Master Your Camera” course and it has helped me improve my skills and pursue my goals. I love landscape and nature photography, but I have found photographing families to be an exciting adventure.
